Women (and some men!) from across the region descended on the picturesque market town of Stokesley and the village of Swainby on Sunday 17th May.
On June 4th no less than four women Liberal Democrat candidates will be standing at three different levels of government:
Rosemary Dalton, a local campaigner, is standing in a District Council by-election.
Long time County Councillor, Caroline Seymour, is standing for re-election to North Yorkshire County Council
Lastly Diana Wallis MEP and Rebecca Taylor as candidates on the Yorkshire and the Humber Euro list.
Diana Wallis MEP said:
"Despite the current political climate the response was very positive, recognising the work Liberal Democrats have done locally."
